1. Acceptance.

By using seod.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site.

2. Use of content.

All content on this site, words, design, logos, case study data, is owned by SEOD or licensed to us. You're welcome to quote reasonable portions with attribution and a link back. You can't repost the entire site, scrape our content for AI training without permission, or use our branding to imply an endorsement.

3. No guarantees.

The content on this site is informational. Past results described in case studies don't guarantee future results. Hiring SEOD doesn't guarantee any specific business outcome, we do our best work with businesses that do their part, and we're honest about which engagements we think will succeed.

4. Third-party links.

We link to third-party sites (Google, Meta, nonprofit programs, etc.) for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

5. Limitation of liability.

Use of this website is at your own risk. SEOD isn't liable for any damages arising from use of this site, to the fullest extent permitted by California law. This section does not apply to engagement contracts, those have their own liability terms.

6. Engagement contracts.

Client engagements are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement signed before work starts. That MSA includes: scope of work, pricing, payment terms, IP ownership (you own what we build for you), confidentiality, indemnification, and termination clauses. Nothing on this public website constitutes a client contract.

7. Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Mateo County, CA.

8. Changes.

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
