How to access Google Ads Support

Contact Google AdWords Support through Help Center On the first screen of the help center, click the “Google AdWords” option.

What is Google Adwords?

AdWords is a PPC advertising program run by Google. The company claims that AdWords is simple advertisements you can place on your websites and on other sites, similar to banners, though you can also include other kinds of features in your ads, like images or even integrated GPS technology. 

As you can see, AdWords are advertisements that you can run along with your website content, and they are used to point search users to your site when appropriate. There are two things to remember when it comes to Google AdWords and tracking templates. On the one hand, the rules are very clear: if you want to use a tracking template, you have to use the Google AdWords program. 

If you don’t have this program, you can’t use these templates, and the advertisements that you create won’t be counted as promotions. What does this mean exactly? Basically, you have to use Google AdWords with the restrictions that you set up for your account, and you cannot change these once you have made your promotions.

Restrictions in the Google AdWords account settings are divided into two groups, which are called “disqualified destinations” and “permitted destinations”. 

The first category refers to the keywords that you are allowed to use to place your ads, and the second refers to the exact words that you are not allowed to use. 

In simple terms, if you enter a prohibited destination while placing an ad for your business, this will be counted as a rejection, even if it’s an approved destination in your AdWords account. Similarly, entering a permitted destination while placing an advertisement is considered an acceptance. 

These examples will demonstrate the principle in full force and will help you see what Google AdWords policy is best for your ad network.

The second category, which includes all AdWords-approved destinations, shows only the word that your site is offering to search for, and will not be counted as a rejection if you use this word to place your ads.

As mentioned earlier, prohibited destinations are also included in this group, and will be counted against you if you advertise for the sites that are on this list. This information can be very confusing to begin AdWords advertisers.
